Verhovec’s Coyote Tournament’s is bringing something NEVER before seen in Ohio — the FIRST-EVER season-long points series for coyote tournaments, The OHIO COYOTE SUNSET RAID SERIES!

This is your chance to battle it out all season long for bragging rights, big prizes, and ultimate hunting glory — all while giving back to the next generation of outdoorsmen and women.

📆 We Work with Your Season! Our schedule avoids conflicts with Ohio’s 2025/2026 Deer Hunting season and the Deerassic Coyote Tournament so you never have to choose — or can do both!

We’ve officially applied for Non-Profit status in Ohio so these tournaments aren’t just about competition — they’re about making a difference.

💵 Points Race Registration Fee: $100 per team (funds Tournament awards & EOS prizes!)
🎟 Tournament Entry Fee: $125 per points race team, $175 for drop-in teams

💰 TOURNAMENT SERIES PAYOUTS:
 

🥇 1st Place: 60%
🥈 2nd Place: 30%
🥉 3rd Place: 10% (if 15+ teams enter)
🐺 Big, Small, and Most Coyote Side Pots: $25 Each Pot

🎯 HOW THE POINTS RACE WORKS:
 

✅ Points are awarded based on placement for teams that weigh in coyotes:
🥇 1st Place: 35 points
🥈 2nd Place: 34 points
🥉 3rd Place: 33 points... and so on!
📌 If 26+ teams enter, the system may be adjusted to maintain a 5-point gap between teams weighing in coyotes and teams that didn’t.
📌 Teams that pay but don’t weigh in still earn 5 points for participation.
🏆 The team with the MOST points at the end of the February Tournament is crowned Points CHAMPION!

✅ Finish in the top 50% of registered teams

✅ Buy back any missed tournaments

👥 TEAM COMPOSITION & SUBSTITUTIONS:

✅ Teams must have 2–4 members
✅ Subs ARE allowed (life happens, we get it!)
✅ Subs CAN fill in for multiple teams
❌ Original team members CANNOT sub for other teams
⚠️ Points are awarded to the team name, NOT individual hunters!

✔️ Open to ALL hunters, but you MUST hunt in Ohio
